Neroli is an essential oil that is extracted from the flower of the orange blossom tree. It releases a honeyed-floral aroma with rich citrusy overtones. Named after Neroli, a small Italian town near Rome, and known as the ‘oil of romance’, its intensely sweet and exotic aroma has long been used as the base of perfumes. Scientific research has found neroli oil to be effective at alleviating stress, anxiety, and depression.
