About Us

Our Story

AARAM was founded in 2020 after friends, Sim and Maya, graduated from university. After realising the negative impacts the pandemic had on our nation's mental health, we wanted to find an all-natural way to help.

Studying psychology and biological sciences gave us a unique perspective when creating our handmade products. We were excited to utilize our knowledge of the inner workings of the body and mind and create a brand whose passion is centred on promoting wellbeing and self-care. Studying biological sciences gave us an in-depth knowledge of exactly how essential oils can have a delicate impact on the neurotransmitter systems of the brain. While psychology allowed us to understand how mindfulness positively impacts the body's physiological responses. 

Combining the science behind essential oils and adapting the mindful meditation tape from our dissertation, our aim was to create a unique experience that people can include in their daily wellbeing routine, and so AARAM was born.

All our products are lovingly handcrafted in small batches in the UK. Each candle has been perfectly blended to provide you with hours of indulgent aromas.
